Hey, I’m 7utmn (otherwise known as Sam). I’m a 16-year-old Australian artist, producer, and songwriter. I’ve been creating a name for myself creating my own genre-blending sound drawing from R&B, soul, jazz, rap, and rock.
I’ve been producing music since 2023 when I was first introduced to FL Studio in my Year 7 music class. What started as experimentation has now evolved into a serious pursuit, and by late 2025 I committed myself to refining my craft.
My journey began with piano, which I started playing before COVID-19. I immersed myself in jazz and gospel piano, my understanding of harmony, rhythm, and musical expression expanded, laying the foundation for the sound that has now defined my work.
With an appreciation for musicality, a relentless work ethic, and rapidly growing body of work, I represent a new movement; a new generation of independent artists who are redefining what can be achieved through a disciplined work ethic, creative mindset, and pursuit of creative freedom.
